Vive! and Professional Collaboration
Vive! believes that, just as a young person's struggles are best addressed within the context of family and community systems, the healing process is most effective when it involves a collaborative approach. Vive! is committed to active, coordinated collaboration between the family, Vive! therapists, other treatment programs and involved professionals.
With the family's approval, we welcome the active involvement of other professionals such as:
- Educational consultants*
- Residential or other treatment programs
- Psychologists and therapists
- Psychiatrists and other medical professionals
- School representatives and counselors
- Other professionals such as addictions specialists, dietitians, etc

Vive! works with these partners to coordinate treatment efforts around the goals and needs of your family. When consulting with residential programs, Vive! seeks to ensure that transition plans are well timed, informed and supported. In many cases, we begin working collaboratively with the residential program prior to the teen's discharge, preparing the parents in advance for the challenges of their child's return home.
