Vive! This is different.
Vive helps families flourish with therapeutic mentoring for young people combined with supportive coaching for their parents. Our mentors and parent coaches wrap support around the whole family, offering experiential, real-time support where it counts the most--in the family's own environment rather than an office or program setting.
Vive is different from other programs and therapies in several important ways:
Real World: You don't go to Vive, Vive comes to you. Vive's therapeutic mentors and therapeutic parent coaches deliver their services directly to your family where you live - at home, school, or in your community.
Action Oriented: Vive helps families make it through real life, so our therapeutic mentors and therapeutic parent coaches encourage the practical application of new skills, insights, and commitments to real-life situations. This helps make positive changes "stick."
Family as a System: Vive uses a family-systems approach to healing. We work with both the parent(s) and child so that the family itself becomes a safe place for change and growth.
Vive! Who We Serve
Vive works with young people between the ages of 10 and 25 who are struggling with a difficult transition or life event, or who are experiencing mild to moderate emotional issues. Vive clients would benefit from support, but are not currently in need of residential placement.
Vive delivers services to young people who are living at home, living on a college campus, or living on their own. Our clients may want help adjusting to a new phase of life such as college or life after residential treatment, and/or may want support with emotional difficulties, such as depression, anxiety, low-self esteem, anger, or eating issues.
Vive! serves families with the following needs:
Transition and aftercare support for a young person returning home from residential treatment
Early intervention services for a teen whose behavior signals a shift onto an unhealthy path, or who needs support navigating a challenging life event or transition
Independent living support for a young adult making the leap from home to college or independence
